- A dive on the world famous Rainbow Warrior, a peaceful ship whose life was spent protecting the marine environment – now home to a complex ecosystem, followed by a reef dive on one of the many top rated dive sites in the Cavalli Islands.
HMNZS Canterbury + Bay of Islands Reef Diving
The HMNZS Canterbury is a 113m Leander Class frigate scuttled in Deep Water Cove in the Bay of Islands. She was laid to rest on the 3rd of November 2007 and has become a fantastic dive for recreational divers.
Your second dive will be on one of the many reefs in the bay – a vast area ranging from Piercy Island, Cathedral Cove, The Dog, Pig Gully, Deep Water Cove - across to Nine Pin, Wiwiki Point, Howe Point, there are hundreds of dive sites to suit all dive enthusiasts!
Rainbow Warrior + Cavalli Islands Reef Diving
Sunk by French Espionage agents and then refloated, to be scuttled and placed in a permanent grave off Matauri Bay in the beautiful Cavalli Islands. The Rainbow Warrior has become one of the world’s most famous wrecks and a MUST to dive.
